The time of alienation through dislocation has long since arrived. The fact that being in the world as a feeling of being at home is becoming increasingly pale with increasing speed and mobility in everyday life is a flavour of globalisation. In times of acceleration, places and their social specificity in being-in-the-world are increasingly losing their significance in terms of identity as a place due to accessibility and arbitrariness. The question of attention remains, for example through listening as individual and collective memory: what do we listen to where and when with whom?

"something about here and there" is a sonic reflection on localisation and de-localisation.
